Can you briefly explain the idea of how the Online Backup Software
works?
Vispa DataSecure is a client application with a user-interface for easy backup configuration. It allows users to upload selected files to the Backup server and runs scheduled backup jobs. It also allows users to create different backup sets for different backup purpose. Besides file backup, DataSecure can backup a list of applications such as MS Exchange, MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Lotus Domino, and much more. OBM supports Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Linux, Mac OS X, etc.

What operating system can I install it on?
Vispa DataSecure will install on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, Linux kernel 2.4 or above, NetWare 5.1 or above, Solaris 2.x or above, AIX, HP-IX, FreeBSD, Mac OS X 10.2 or above.

What happens if I try to upload more data than my chosen quota?
The backup will fail and immediately notify you by email.

How easy is it to restore files?
If you have Vispa DataSecure installed, you can simply select the files and select restore. If for instance you do not have the client installed (new PC) you can either install it or go to our web portal and enter your encryption key to restore all or selected files.

How does it backup? Full backup's or incremental ?
Upon installing and running your first backup, Vispa DataSecure will perform a full backup of all the files and settings which you have selected. This may take several hours depending on the size of data and your internet connection. It has been know for it to take several days with large amounts of data. Once this is done, DataSecure will only backup changed files or settings thus preventing it from transferring large amounts of data on each auto backup.

What happens if I loose my encryption key?
It is very very important that when you install the software you make a note of your encryption key. This can be any password & number combination. It's used as a cipher key to encrypt and decrypt your data. If you loose your key, we cannot access your data. Please store it in a safe place!
